Calling all seniors, across all grades, old and new and soon to be women’s team. Come on down to Ron Barnes Ballpark to meet your future fellow club men, have a chat with the coaches and hear their thoughts and expectations for the upcoming season. The announcement of the competition format for the season makes it a good chance to work out where people think they might like to play.
We’ll be holding our annual Come and Try Baseball Day on September 7. For existing members this is a good chance to tell your friends/family about how great baseball is for your summer sport and encourage them to get along and have a try. The day is open for all ages (see image below).
For parents it would be fantastic if you could help us recruit by placing our flyer in your school’s newsletter or hanging one at your winter sport canteens and spreading the word.
We will be posting session times soon so keep checking for the update

Word from the Head Coach
Thanks very much for the honour. I’m excited in having the opportunity to pass some of what I’ve learned over my 20+ years in baseball to the next generation of players. My baseball background consists of predominately New South Wales Major League first grade, multiple age state representation, Institute of Sport and Australian Provincial.
I am very passionate about the game, the process of developing player skills, bonding a strong and united team/club, and developing good work ethic during practices and games. It is my belief that as the coach it is my role to ensure that all of this can be achieved while having fun along the way.
If at any time anyone needs anything else you can reach me via Eagles Email initially
Thank you all and here’s to a successful 2019/2020 season.
